SIMPLE SCREW FIXING OF A FIRE PROTECTION SLEEVE AROUND PIPE ENTRIES WITHOUT ANY TOOLS
In order to prevent the spread of flames and dangerous gases in the event of fire, line bushings in walls and ceilings are provided with preventive fire protection measures. Most commonly used are fire protection collars, which are placed around a cable duct and attached to the wall or ceiling. According to the state of the art, the fire protection collar is fastened to a solid wall or ceiling using a combination of dowels and screws or by mortaring in the bent fastening straps. Fixing the fire protection collar to a soft bulkhead system is particularly cumbersome. According to the state of the art, the fire protection collar must be fixed to the mineral fiber board with several threaded rods so that the installed fire protection system fulfills the required fire resistance class. The resulting considerable time and material expenditure for the installation of the fire protection represents a relevant problem for the trades. Current publications on the subject describe new fasteners for soft bulkheads, such as the use of a spiral screw or a hinged spring anchor. This type of fixation of a fire protection collar can reduce the time required, but not the material and cost expenditure.
The specified in protection claim 1 invention is based on the requirement to generate the fixation of a fire protection collar around a cable bushing that prevents the cable bushing from slipping in the event of a fire and its installation in one step with a commercially available chipboard or wood construction screw, such as ASSY® Würth screws on a soft partition wall or soft partition ceiling, or with a concrete screw without dowels, e.g. concrete screw with hexagon head W-BS / S (160 mm) or with the concrete screw hexagon head and large washer W-BS / S (180 mm ) of the Würth company can be carried out on a light partition wall, a solid wall or solid ceiling, so that the work and material expenditure for the trades is minimized.
These requirements are met with the features listed in claim 1 protection.
With the invention, the slipping and falling out of the cable bushing is prevented in the event of a fire. In addition, the uncomplicated screw fixing of a fire protection collar around cable penetrations on soft partition walls, soft partition ceilings, lightweight partition walls, solid walls and ceilings is cost-effective and user-friendly.
